The Centre organises many lectures and advanced courses for PhD students. These are delivered locally by LAPP and LAPTh members but also by senior physicists visiting the Centre. The students attend also at least one Summer/Atumn School outside Annecy. Many students have also greatly benefited from the School/Workshop Physics at TeV Colliders organised by members of LAPTh in Les Houches.

• QCD at the LHC, Joey Huston (Michigan State Univ, USA)
• The Physics of Flavour, Diego Guadagnoli (LAPTh, Annecy)
• The Standard Model of Electroweak Interactions, Fawzi BOUDJEMA (LAPTh, Annecy)
