A) Instructions for speakers (regular talks): All presentations must be electronic, PowerPoint, OpenOffice or pdf file. At the conference site we will have two PC's: -One at the podium that you will use for your presentation. -One in the back of the conference room which will be a local web server from where the program and all the presentations will be available. Both PC's will run the same version of Windows XP professional with PowerPoint 2003, acrobat reader 6.0 and OpenOffice 1.1.3. You can submit your talk in advance by sending an html link to the local organizers (gwdaw9-loc@lapp.in2p3.fr). If you do not submit your talk in advance, please bring it on a USB memory key or CD and install it on the podium PC no later than during the coffee break before your session. The link to your presentation from the program will be activated no more than a few minutes before your presentation. If you have any question, contact the person sitting in front of the PC server located in the back of the conference room. A remark about fonts: if you are using slightly non standard font, please save them in your file by going to the "save as" menu, then select the "tool" menu from the dialog box, select "include True Type fonts" and then save your file. If you have a talk that requires unusual software, it will be still possible to run it from your laptop. In that case, be sure to try the connection with the video projector during the preceding coffee break. However, for obvious reasons of loss of time, we do NOT recommend this option. In any case, we are asking you to give us your file to include it in the program. B) Instructions for poster: Each poster will have to be introduced by a single viewgraph during the poster preview session. Since you will have only 2 minutes to introduce your poster, please keep this viewgraph short enough without special animation or the chair of the session may have to ask you to cut it! This viewgraph must be sent in advance (by December 9) to the local organizers (gwdaw9-loc@lapp.in2p3.fr). We will take care of installing it on the podium PC and it will be ready for display for the poster preview session. Please use only PowerPoint or pdf file. The maximum size of the poster itself is 97 centimeters wide times 124 centimeters. You can install it at any time, but we recommend that you do at your earliest convenience on Wednesday and no later than the Thursday morning coffee break. In the poster room your slot will be labeled by your name. There will be some material (tape, thumbtacks) to help you installing it. If you want to keep your poster at the end of the workshop, please remove it before Saturday 9am, or it will be discarded.
