Since the conference venue is a few kilometers apart from downtown Annecy where most participants will be staying, we will provide a coach service to go to the conference center in the morning and back in the evening. More details will be annouced later. If you consider using this service because you think you will not have a car at your disposal, we appreciate if you indicate it on your registration form.

A few rooms (25) are available at the conference center, all with private bath and internet access. Since Veyrier du Lac offers only limited possibilities for having dinner, we would advise that participants without a car stay rather in downtown Annecy. Please note that the conference center can accept payment only by cash (euros), or personal check from French banks only

DOWNTOWN ANNECY

Blocks of rooms have been reserved at preferential rates in a few hotels in downtown Annecy, in the neighbourhood of the railway station and the old city. The rooms have been reserved for the four nights of Tuesday December 14, 2004 through Friday December 17, 2004.
These blocks of rooms will be held in reserve until Monday November 15, 2004. Room availablility after that date cannot be guaranteed, so place your reservation early.
You may visit the web sites of the hotels for additional information, but DO NOT USE THEM TO BOOK YOUR ROOM ONLINE; you would not be able to get the preferential rate in doing so. Instead, complete and email the following reservation template to the hotel of your choice, indicating the code "LAPP GWDAW" to get the quoted preferential rates.
